Yum. 02/06/2008

I'm full now.

Dumplings. 02/06/2008

Its also pretty hard to fit 14 people in one dinner table. So we have to take turns. I'm really hungry now.

Happy Chinese New Year!

I just woke up. Yes, at 10:30. Hey, not my fault that I stayed up until 2 the day before, and then stayed up till 1 yesterday. Just to tell you, I'm not much of a morning person.

So yesterday my whole family (on my dads side) came over and watched TV, played mah-jong (I lost everytime), eat, watch my smallest cousin annoy another cousin by going "Oooh, lets do this. Ooh, lets do that". And then all watched for the countdown, and also this cross talk thing.

You know, its pretty hard fitting 14 people in a few sofas that only fit 5.

Sleepover! 02/04/2008

Getting ready for two sleepless nights.

One at BeijingDutchness' house where we'll probably be up until 3 or something watching movies. Movie marathon!

Second for Chinese New Year, where I'll be staying up until twelve for the countdown with the rest of my family.

3 days until Chinese New Year (or is it 2?)

Snows. 01/30/2008

So apparently its snowed/snowing really hard in the south. People are trapped in cars on the road and stuff. Wow. Don't worry, instant noodles are being delivered to them. xD What I think they should do is get a load of people in one car so they don't waste as much oil for the heating.

I think it never snowed this big in the south before. Correction. I thought it NEVER snowed in southern China before.

So, yea, since most vegetables come from the southern provinces, and they're stuck in snow, vegetables are really expensive now in Beijing.

Sadly, its not snowing in Beijing.
